A fair to remember
By Pang Hong Yee
Does not matter if you are looking for property or home improvement products, the latest Modern Home & Property Fair 07 has something for everyone.
THE success in the first combined home and property fair held in January at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre, Cyans Event Management is organising the next fair (with the same theme) this July.
The combined event (also known as Modern Home & Property Fair 07) features both the Modern Home & Living Fair 07 and the Modern Property Fair 07, which will run concurrently in the same venue.
Thousands flocked the three-day Modern Home & Property Fair in January. Commenting on the huge turnout, managing director of Cyans Event Management said the large crowds at both the home fair and the property show caused an outburst of enthusiasm among the visitors. Yong strongly believes that a stand alone property fair would not be able to draw crowds of such numbers and attributed the good turnout to ready buyers who were looking for value deals.
Combined fair has more to offer consumers.
Developers who participated in the January fair agreed that the joint home and property fair was effective in drawing people to view their projects. Consequently, a number of repeat exhibitors are increasing their booth space, along with other new developers who confirmed their bookings for the coming July fair. Yong reveals that new exhibitors who signed up for the July Modern Property Fair 07 would be showcasing more bungalow plots as well as new township launches.
He said, “One participating developer has 5,000 bungalow lots to promote. Other new exhibitors will showcase newly launched housing projects. Moreover, several foreign land investment companies will also promote their land projects in the UK and Canada.” With greater participation by leading developers in the Klang Valley and with more property projects going on display, the July fair will certainly attract a greater number of visitors and potential buyers.
The upcoming Modern Home & Property Fair 07 will be extended by four days – from July 26 to 29, as many exhibitors are in favour of an extra day of business. The venue will remain at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre which has proven to be a popular spot among shoppers and visitors.
The Modern Property Fair 07 will occupy Hall 1 whiel the Modern Home & Living Fair 07 will fill the Atrium, Halls 2 and 3. Together, the combined fair will feature over 300 exhibition booths! There will also be more parking spaces for visitors as new parking lots are now ready within the Mid Valley Garden Block.
Booths for the July event are selling fast. Interested developers are advised to sign up early to avoid disappointment as booths are offered on a first-come-first-served basis. For further information or enquiries, kindly contact 03-7980 4321, 03-7981 1725, 012-281 8266 or 012-971 1588.
