MUCH of the value of this salmon pink three-storey excluding a basement floor hinges on its picturesque view, pleasant landscaping and what lies on the ground floor.

Located on a cul-de-sac, this property exudes elements of American-styled Grand Manor architecture. Both the front and “back portion” are fairly similar in style; one has the garden while the other, the pool.

The front of the house is beauti-fully landscaped with an elegant portico leading to the front door after a winding flight of steps.

Vehicles are neatly tucked and partially hidden in a covered area away from the main entrance, closer to the dry kitchen.

This covered area is able to accommodate three large cars. One can access the house via the wet kitchen or the front door.

This makes the front entrance or the front view of the house very much neater than when vehicles are left in the porch.

The owner’s wife has done an excellent job at gardening and landscaping.

The back portion appears to be the main entertaining area. The house sits on the curve of the Tropicana golf course facing a vast expanse of green.

The owner has taken full advantage of this view by adding a swimming pool to complete the scene.

The wife has created hedges of green and spots of colour around the pool area.

A gazebo offers a shaded area for relaxation. A wide terrace, or coffee area, has been created overlooking the pool and golf course. Just as there is a columned portico leading to the front door, there is also an elegant portico at the “back portion” of the house.

The formal dining area inside the house is just beyond the terrace, offering diners a view of the ground.

There is a guest room on the ground floor and an AV room. There is also a dry kitchen here.

There are three family rooms on the first floor while the master bedroom occupies the entire second floor. Other than the master bedroom, the other bedrooms are of average size and come en suite with bathroom. All the bathrooms are of similar design.

The house is serviced by a lift from the ground floor to the top second floor.

There is an additional basement floor housing the wet kitchen and maid’s room.

The owner moved in some six months ago. There are minor touch-ups that are yet to be done, which will be left to the new owner. Some of the wall lightings have not been installed yet. There are provisions for a jacuzzi.

“We have made provisions for it because that seems to be the trend today,” he says.

The owner is currently enjoying the house but if someone is willing to fork out RM6mil, he is ready to let it go.
