Following the successful launch of the monthly Property Report Thailand magazine in May 2004, publishers Ensign Media Co. Ltd. launched the online real estate portal Asia Property Report (www.property-report.com) soon after.
Billed as ´The region´s real estate portal´, Asia Property Report has daily news and analysis on the key real estate markets throughout Asia.
“With our daily uploads, we provide up-to-date information on what´s going on in Asia´s real estate industry. From Phuket to Sri Lanka, Singapore to Fiji, Australia to Japan, our readers turn to us for informed real estate news,” said Duncan Worthington, Managing Director of Ensign Media Co. Ltd.
Asia Property Report has seen exponential growth since it´s launch less than three years ago. Following a strategy of daily content and property, land and business listings, the real estate portal has reached a PageRank of 6 and has regular visitors numbering 25,000 plus per month.
PageRank is a tool used by Google to determine the popularity of a site. While it is complex and takes into account a number of variables, in its simplest form it measures the number and ´quality´ of inbound links to a site, and uses this to determine rank. Ranking is out of 10 and scores over five are not easy to achieve.
“We are very proud of achieving PageRank 6, especially in the relatively short space of time the site has been live. Many other sites take 10 years or more to achieve this,” added Worthington.
In addition to the strong daily news content, Asia Property Report has a large database of Asian properties. While there is a very strong catalogue of Thailand properties, new and second-hand, the database is growing and currently comprises of thousands of properties from all over the Asia region.
Worthington further commented, “On Asia Property Report users can search for real estate services, property and land, and search the largest single database of Asian real estate articles. All information is provided online for free.”
